Jacques Le Moyne de Morgues was a French artist best known for his role in the 1564 Huguenot expedition to colonize northern Florida. The group successfully founded Fort Caroline near present-day Jacksonville, and Le Moyne completed detailed illustrations of flora, fauna, and the Timucua peoples.
